Hunt The Night stocks one of Australia's largest ranges of thermal rifle scopes — from entry-level units for close pest control to 640×512 flagships built for long-range feral work. A thermal scope detects heat rather than light, so it works in total darkness, sees through light scrub and dust, and gives you a decisive edge on pigs, foxes, rabbits and deer when they move at night.

We carry every major thermal brand: HIKMICRO (Stellar, Panther, NEOS and Thunder clip-ons), Pulsar (Thermion, Telos), ThermTec, Nocpix and more — across every price point and sensor class. Not sure where to start? Image quality and reach come from the whole system, not one number: the objective lens (focal length and aperture) is what drives how far a scope detects, while sensor resolution and pixel pitch set the detail. A 640×512 sensor gives a wider field of view and holds detail across more of the scene at a given lens; a 384×288 sensor shows a narrower, more magnified view and costs less. NETD (thermal sensitivity) helps in poor contrast, but image-processing software has just as much say in the final picture. Models with a built-in laser rangefinder (LRF) add one-press ranging and a ballistic solution for confident shots at distance.

Every scope is genuine Australian stock with full manufacturer warranty, expert pre-sale advice, and fast nationwide shipping. New to thermal? Read our guide on how thermal imaging works, or see our pick of the best thermal scopes in Australia for 2026.
