Centrefire rifles are the backbone of Australian hunting, and this collection covers everything from light fox rifles to long-range deer rifles. The range is led by bolt-action rifles from Tikka, Bergara, Ruger, Howa, Sauer, Sako and Lithgow Arms, alongside lever-action rifles from Henry and Marlin, straight-pull rifles from Blaser and Southern Cross Small Arms (SCSA), and pump-action rifles.
The most common calibres in stock are .223 Rem and .308 Win, followed by .30-06 Sprg, 7mm PRC, .300 Win Mag, .243 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor. You will also find .204 Ruger, .300 Blackout, .30-30 Win, .45-70 Govt, .270 Win and .300 PRC.
When comparing centrefire rifles, match the calibre to your game and typical shot distance first, then look at weight and barrel length. A lighter rifle with a 20 to 22 inch barrel carries well on long stalks, while a heavier varmint or precision barrel holds steady from a bipod. Check the twist rate if you plan to shoot heavier projectiles, and consider a threaded muzzle if you want to fit a muzzle brake.
All firearms are sold only to appropriately licensed shooters, and a valid firearms licence and Permit to Acquire (PTA) are required before purchase. Our team can explain the process and help you choose the right setup.
