Pixfra scopes cover three jobs: Cetus for plain thermal, Pegasus 2 when you want ranging and ballistics, and Volans for 4K digital day and night. Pick the lens to suit your distances first, then the features.
Cetus: straightforward thermal
The C225 (256×192, 25 mm) is the entry point for close rabbit and fox work. The C335 (384×288, 35 mm) and C635 (640×512, 35 mm) suit most work inside about 150 m. The C650 (640×512, 50 mm) is the one for open country.
Pegasus 2 LRF: ranging and ballistics
Every Pegasus 2 here has a 1,000 m laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator, and it's a 30 mm tube, so it goes in standard rings. Choose the P335 LRF, P635 LRF or P650 LRF.
Volans 50: digital day and night
The Volans 50 is a 4K digital scope you can use by day and, with IR, at night. The kit adds a torch and QD rings, and the LRF kit adds a rangefinder too.
Use a handheld to find and check animals. A scope is for the shot, not for scanning.
