Vortex binoculars in Australia

Vortex binoculars are tough, clear and backed by the VIP warranty, so if they break, they get fixed or replaced.

Which Vortex binos?

  • Crossfire HD: a solid first pair for the money.
  • Diamondback HD: the all-rounder, from compact 8x28 up to 15x56.
  • Viper HD: a step up in glass for long days glassing hillsides.
  • Razor HD and UHD: Vortex's best glass, brightest at first and last light.
  • Kaibab 18x56: high power for tripod glassing in big country.

8x or 10x?

8x gives a wider, steadier view for bush hunting. 10x shows more detail across gullies. 12x and up are best on a tripod. A 42 mm objective is the sweet spot for most hunting. Go 50 mm or bigger if you glass a lot at dawn and dusk.
