Roll over to zoom
Real thermal footage of warthogs, shown in each palette. Palettes only change the colours; the heat data is the same.
- Across the circle at this distance
- Magnification
- What you can tell
The view starts at this unit's own magnification. The further away the animal, and the wider the field of view, the less detail the sensor picks up, until you can tell something warm is there but not what it is. Zooming in makes it bigger, not sharper.
- Magnification
- Sharpness
Digital zoom crops the sensor image and enlarges what is left. It adds no detail, so each step makes the picture bigger but softer.
Example image only. Not filmed through this product. Pig and deer stills supplied by HIKMICRO and Nocpix; fox and rabbit are thermal-style images we made from photos by A. Omer Karamollaoglu (CC BY 2.0) and Alexis Lours (CC BY 4.0). Field of view and zoom are simulated from this unit's 640×512 sensor and 50 mm lens, 3× base magnification and 1600×1200 screen. Real results change with weather, display and settings.

Pixfra Pegasus 2 P650 LRF Thermal Scope – Lock On, Range It, Take the Shot
Ranging and thermal live in one tidy scope: a 640 × 512, 12 µm sensor rated ≤15 mK behind a 50 mm F1.0 lens, with a 1,000 m laser rangefinder on top.
Detection is rated to 2,600 m by Pixfra, with 3.6× base, 1×–8× digital magnification and a 8.8° × 7.0° field of view.
It mounts in standard 30 mm rings, weighs about 840 g and is IP67 sealed.
Compact Laser Rangefinder
A smaller LRF module ranges out to 1,000 m without bulking up the scope. Range it, let the ballistic calculator work out the hold, and stay on the animal.
High-Sensitivity Thermal
640 × 512 resolution with ≤15 mK NETD picks up small temperature differences, so animals stand out from scrub and long grass. Pixfra's PIPS 3.0 processing keeps the picture clean and consistent.
0.5-Inch 1600 × 1200 Display
A sharp OLED with a curved interface. Finer detail and more natural colour make it easier to judge what you're looking at before you commit.
Rear Focus and Wheel Controls
Focus sits on the top knob, so there's no reaching forward to the lens. A combined wheel and button layout means quick changes without taking your eye off the target.
Q-Switch Power Knob
Rotate to switch between on, off and standby. No fumbling for buttons in the dark.
Quick-Release Battery, Long Runtime
Twin 18650s give up to about 9 hours, and the quick-release cover makes swaps fast. It'll also run on a single battery.
Built for Recoil
Full magnesium alloy body, shock-rated to 1,000 g/0.4 ms. Pixfra rates it for heavy calibres like .375 H&H and 12 gauge.
RAR Video and Custom Zeroing
The impact sensor saves 15 seconds before and after each shot, ready to share through the Pixfra app. Zeroing profiles can be added, renamed and grouped by distance, so swapping loads or rifles is no drama.
