HIKMICRO Stellar Australia
Needs first. A HIKMICRO Stellar is for the shot after you have already found the animal — not the scanner you wave around the paddock. Spot with a HIKMICRO thermal monocular (Condor / Lynx / Falcon) first, then choose the Stellar that fits the hunt: quarry, typical shot distance and role. We do not lead with a price ladder or a catalogue dump.
Lens by distance. Close pest work around ~150 m is a ~35 mm Stellar (SH35L / SQ35L class). Past that — foxes at 250 m and longer feral shots — lock 50 mm first, with Stellar 3.0 SQ50L as the 50 mm night-first flagship. Sensor class (384 vs 640) adds field of view and detail, not raw reach. The objective does the distance work.
Considerations. Built-in LRF, ballistics, battery system, tube profile and mounts sit in the second column after millimetres are honest. For the full 50 mm walkthrough read Stellar SQ50L Needs-first buyer guide. Brand fit across scopes and spotters: HIKMICRO Australia hub and HIKMICRO Australia.
