SX60LS — 60 mm / 1280 only after 50 mm is locked

Once 35 mm versus 50 mm is pointed at the right millimetres, these are the questions that actually change the SKU — not the brochure headline.
LRF and ballistics — why the L models exist
Trailing L on SH35L / SQ35L / SH50L / SQ50L / SX60LS adds a lens-integrated laser rangefinder (manufacturer 1,000 m, ±1 m, Class 1, 905 nm) and ballistic calculation with inclination compensation. That is a Consideration of how you shoot, not a reason to pick 35 mm over 50 mm. The LRF will not make a 35 mm Stellar into a 250 m fox optic. Add it when distance is how you decide hold, wait or walk. Not a substitute for identification.
SH versus SQ — FOV, not reach

Battery and power
Current Stellar 3.0 L models run two rechargeable internals plus one replaceable 18650. The specification sheet on SQ50L / SH50L / SH35L quotes about nine hours continuous with Zoom Pro and LRF on at −20°C, USB-C external power, QC3.0. Treat runtime as a Consideration: carry a spare 18650, do not plan a long night on one cell, and ignore range-page “15 hour” headlines that do not match the 3.0 sheet. Battery is never a reason to drop from 50 mm to 35 mm.
