Real thermal footage of warthogs, shown in each palette. Palettes only change the colours; the heat data is the same.
- Across the circle at this distance
- Magnification
- What you can tell
The view starts at this unit's own magnification. The further away the animal, and the wider the field of view, the less detail the sensor picks up, until you can tell something warm is there but not what it is. Zooming in makes it bigger, not sharper.
- Magnification
- Sharpness
Digital zoom crops the sensor image and enlarges what is left. It adds no detail, so each step makes the picture bigger but softer.
Example image only. Not filmed through this product. Pig and deer stills supplied by HIKMICRO and Nocpix; fox and rabbit are thermal-style images we made from photos by A. Omer Karamollaoglu (CC BY 2.0) and Alexis Lours (CC BY 4.0). Field of view and zoom are simulated from this unit's 384×288 sensor and 35 mm lens, 4.2× base magnification and 2560×2560 screen. Real results change with weather, display and settings.

HIKMICRO Stellar SH35L 3.0 Thermal Scope with LRF: Dominate the Darkness with Precision
The HIKMICRO Stellar SH35L 3.0 thermal scope packs a 384×288 detector, a 35 mm F1.0 lens and an integrated laser rangefinder into a classic 30 mm tube. HIKMICRO pitches its 4.2× base magnification for spotting and observing detail in open fields, and the built-in rangefinder for more accurate judgement at night. For fox, rabbit and pig control on Australian farms, it's a 1,800 m-detection thermal rifle scope that keeps the look and balance of a traditional riflescope.
Ultra-Sensitive Thermal Imaging, 15 mK
Stellar 3.0 is HIKMICRO's first line to go under 15 mK NETD. The SH35L 3.0 inherits that sensitivity, picking out fine temperature differences for a clearer image with richer detail, from the outline of the animal to the scrub it's sitting in.
Seamless Viewing with Shutterless (HSIS) Tech
HSIS is HIKMICRO's shutterless image system. It learns grey backgrounds dynamically, so there are no periodic calibration pauses and no lost moments in the field. Image Pro 2.0 adds a detailed, low-noise picture of both the target and its surroundings.
1.03" OLED Large Display for Cinema-Quality Hunting Trips
A 1.03-inch 2560×2560 OLED brings a bigger, sharper sight picture that helps show impact points clearly and eases eye fatigue on long nights. Sub-round or square viewing modes suit each shooter's style, and magnification runs 4.2–24.2× in 1× steps.
Built-In Rangefinder and Optimised Ballistic Calculation
The integrated 1,000 m laser rangefinder (±1 m) feeds Stellar 3.0's optimised ballistic calculation, with automatic inclination compensation and selectable bullet type. Five zeroing profiles, freeze zeroing and quick zeroing through the HIKMICRO Sight app make setup simple.
Rooted in Tradition, Built Tough
An aluminium-alloy housing is rated to 1,000 g/0.4 ms of shock, for calibres up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3×64. It fits standard 30 mm rings and wears a magnetic lens cover and a glove-friendly focus ring. Two internal batteries plus a swappable 18650 give 9 hours of running time, and recoil-activated recording keeps every shot in the local album.
