Condor or Falcon? It comes down to how far you glass. The Condor CQ35 and Condor CQ35L 2.0 are spot on for all-round spotting. The Falcon FQ35 2.0 is a good step into the Falcon. For big open paddocks, the Falcon FQ50L 2.0 and Falcon FQ50 2.0 give you the reach, and the Condor CQ50L 2.0 adds a bigger lens to the Condor. Ask us which suits.
The extras. A built-in rangefinder (Condor "L" models and the Falcon FQ50L), how it sits in your hand (the Condor's palm grip or the Falcon's round body), the earlier Wi-Fi Condor or the 2.0 bodies, plus battery, weight and mounts. The Condor puts ranging first and the Falcon puts the picture first, but neither will make a 35 mm reach open-country foxes. Want something for your pocket? The Lynx is on HIKMICRO Thermal Monoculars Australia.
Every Condor and Falcon here is genuine Australian stock with local warranty.

Why grab a monocular too — Condor or Falcon
With a Condor or Falcon you can look the animal over, check how far out it is and see what's behind it, all without pointing a rifle around the paddock. The rifle comes up when you're ready to shoot. 35 mm: closer country
If most of your hunting happens inside 150 m (rabbits, foxes in scrub, timber edges and tight paddocks), go 35 mm. For a Condor, there's the earlier Condor LRF CQ35 with Wi-Fi and a rangefinder, or the current Condor CQ35L 2.0 with a 640 sensor and rangefinder. For a Falcon, the Falcon FQ35 2.0 has a 640 sensor and puts the picture first, and the Falcon FH35 runs a 384. The Condor CH35L ranges on a 35 mm lens with a 384 sensor. For foxes out around 250 m, go 50 mm instead.
50 mm — open paddock / foxes at 250 m
For picking out animals past 150 m, go 50 mm. The Falcon FQ50L 2.0 has a 50 mm lens, 640 sensor and rangefinder, and the Falcon FQ50 2.0 is the same without the laser. For a Condor, there's the Condor CQ50L 2.0 and the earlier Condor LRF CQ50. A bigger sensor gives you a wider, more detailed view, but it's the 50 mm lens that gives you the reach.
Condor vs Falcon — which body suits you
Pick the lens size first, then the body. Go Condor if you like ranging from the handheld and a palm grip (CQ35, CQ35L, CQ50L). Go Falcon if the picture matters most and you like a round body (FQ35, FQ50, FQ50L, with a rangefinder on the FQ50L). A Condor's laser won't turn a 35 mm into a 250 m fox spotter. The Condor CH25L and Falcon FH25 suit really close work, but they won't do the job of a 50 mm in open country.

HIKMICRO Condor & Falcon Australia — FAQ
Condor or Falcon?
Pick the lens size for how far you look first. Then go Condor if you want a built-in rangefinder and like the palm grip, or Falcon if you want the best 640 picture (only the FQ50L has a rangefinder). A Condor won't make a 35 mm reach 250 m fox country.
35 mm or 50 mm?
Inside about 150 m, 35 mm: the CQ35, CQ35L or FQ35. For foxes at 250 m and anything else you want to pick out past 150 m, go 50 mm: the FQ50L, FQ50 or CQ50L. A bigger sensor gives you a wider, more detailed view, but not more reach.
Gen-1 Condor Wi-Fi or Condor / Falcon 2.0?
Pick the lens size first. The earlier CQ35 is still great value if you want ranging and Wi-Fi. The 2.0 bodies (CQ35L, FQ50L, FQ35) are the newer models, with a better picture and controls.
Do I still need a Condor/Falcon if I own a HIKMICRO thermal scope?
Yep. Spot with the handheld, then bring the scope up for the shot. It means you're not pointing the rifle around to look.
