Roll over to zoom
Real thermal footage of warthogs, shown in each palette. Palettes only change the colours; the heat data is the same.
- Across the circle at this distance
- Magnification
- What you can tell
The view starts at this unit's own magnification. The further away the animal, and the wider the field of view, the less detail the sensor picks up, until you can tell something warm is there but not what it is. Zooming in makes it bigger, not sharper.
- Magnification
- Sharpness
Digital zoom crops the sensor image and enlarges what is left. It adds no detail, so each step makes the picture bigger but softer.
Example image only. Not filmed through this product. Pig and deer stills supplied by HIKMICRO and Nocpix; fox and rabbit are thermal-style images we made from photos by A. Omer Karamollaoglu (CC BY 2.0) and Alexis Lours (CC BY 4.0). Field of view and zoom are simulated from this unit's 640×480 sensor and 60 mm lens, 4× base magnification and 2560×2560 screen. Real results change with weather, display and settings.

Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XR60: Long reach, long runtime
The Pulsar Thermion 3 LRF XR60 puts a 640×480 thermal sensor behind a 60 mm F1.1 lens, with 4× base magnification, a 1200 m laser rangefinder and an integrated ballistic calculator. It is built for open country and longer shots.

Sensitive 640×480 thermal sensor
A 12 µm, 640×480 sensor with a system NETD below 18 mK picks out small temperature differences, so animals stay clearly visible against the background in fog, rain or high humidity. Three amplification levels (Normal, High and Ultra) and a smoothing filter let you tune the picture to the conditions.
4× start, 40× reach

With a 4× base magnification and continuous zoom to 40×, the XR60 is made for small or distant targets. The 7.3° field of view covers 12.8 m at 100 m, and Picture-in-Picture adds a magnified window without losing the full scene.
Focus and zoom by feel

The Thermion 3 puts its two most-used controls where a riflescope shooter expects them. Focus sits on the top turret wheel, like a side-focus or parallax knob, and magnification is a zoom ring at the eyepiece with a lever, like a classic scope's power ring. Both work by feel, so you can sharpen the image and change magnification without taking your eye off the target. You can even set which way the zoom ring turns.
Laser rangefinder to 1200 m

The built-in 905 nm laser rangefinder measures out to 1200 m with ±1 m accuracy. SCAN mode keeps measuring as you move, and the scope can show true horizontal distance and the angle to the target.
Integrated ballistic calculator

Build a profile for your rifle and ammunition in the Stream Vision Ballistics app and load it over Bluetooth. Range the target and the scope shows the suggested point of aim. Side incline arrows warn you when the rifle is canted.
Precise zeroing, 10 profiles

Ten zeroing profiles, ten reticle shapes in eleven colours and ten brightness levels let you set the scope up for different rifles and loads, then switch between them quickly.
Never miss the shot
Recoil-activated recording saves video from 30 seconds before the first shot to 30 seconds after the last. Shadow recording keeps the 30 seconds before you press REC. Footage is recorded at 1440×1080 with sound to 128 GB of built-in memory and can be streamed to the Stream Vision 2 app over Wi-Fi.
Dual battery system
A built-in APS5 and a removable APS5 (4900 mAh each) give up to 14 hours of operation at 22 °C. The removable battery can be swapped while the scope is on, and USB-C Power Delivery (5 V / 9 V) runs the scope from a power bank.
Classic riflescope design
A 30 mm tube fits standard rings. You get 65 mm of eye relief, a 6000 J recoil rating, IP67 protection and operation from −25 to +50 °C.
Discreet in the field
The proximity sensor turns the 2560×2560 AMOLED display off when you lift your eye away and back on when you return, so there is no glow to give you away. Tilt power-off shuts the scope down if it's left tilted.
Other features
- 9 colour palettes
- 3 calibration modes: automatic, semi-automatic and manual
- Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz and Bluetooth BLE 4.2
- USB-C video output
- Defective pixel repair
