Roll over to zoom
Real thermal footage of warthogs, shown in each palette. Palettes only change the colours; the heat data is the same.

- Magnification
- What you can tell
The view starts at this unit's own magnification. The further away the animal, and the wider the field of view, the less detail the sensor picks up, until you can tell something warm is there but not what it is. Zooming in makes it bigger, not sharper.
- Magnification
- Sharpness
Digital zoom crops the sensor image and enlarges what is left. It adds no detail, so each step makes the picture bigger but softer.
Example image only. Not filmed through this product. Pig and deer stills supplied by HIKMICRO and Nocpix; fox and rabbit are thermal-style images we made from photos by A. Omer Karamollaoglu (CC BY 2.0) and Alexis Lours (CC BY 4.0). Field of view and zoom are simulated from this unit's 1280×1024 sensor and 50 mm lens, 1× base magnification and 1920×1080 screen. Real results change with weather, display and settings.

Pixfra Sirius HD SA50 – Four Times the Pixels
HD thermal in a handheld: a 1280 × 1024, 12 µm sensor rated ≤18 mK behind a 50 mm F1.0 manual-focus lens.
Detection is rated to 2,600 m at 1.72× base magnification, with a wide 17.2° × 13.8° field of view.
Why HD Matters
With four times the pixels of a 640 sensor, you can zoom further before the image breaks up, and the wide view means more ground per sweep.
PIPS 2.0 Processing
Pixfra's PIPS 2.0 image processing cuts noise, improves digital zoom and pulls out finer detail.
Full HD OLED
A 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 OLED and six colour palettes.
Record and Share
64 GB of storage for video and stills, with Wi-Fi to the Pixfra app.
Power and Build
A replaceable 18650 is rated for 4.5 hours at 25 °C with Wi-Fi off, so a spare is worth carrying. It's IP67 sealed, weighs about 544 g and runs from −30 °C to +55 °C.
