Product Description
Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 SFP VMR-3 MOA Riflescope
Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 SFP VMR-3 MOA riflescope delivers unrivaled versatility and optical performance for precision hunting. When success rides on the perfect shot, rely on the exceptional clarity and rugged reliability of this scope, engineered for everything from predators to big game across dawn-lit ridges and dusky fields.
The HD Optical System uses select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration, and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and high light transmission. This yields crisp image detail from horizon to heartbeat, helping you pick out the faintest silhouettes even in low light when game is most active.
Designed for the demands of serious shooters, the Viper HD 5-25x50 features an Illuminated Reticle for precise aiming under low-light conditions. The second focal plane reticle maintains a consistent subtension as you zoom, while you dial in fast, intuitive holdovers at 5x or 25x magnification. The 30mm Main Tube is engineered for increased travel and sturdiness, providing a solid baseline for long-range accuracy.
Durability and reliability are built in with Exposed Locking Elevation Turret and RevStop Zero System, ensuring you return to zero after turret adjustments even after heavy recoil. The exposed elevation turret is designed for fast, accurate adjustments that you can read at a glance, while RevStop locks in your zero with a positive, repeatable return. The scope is fully multi-coated for enhanced light transmission across all air-to-glass surfaces, giving you brighter images with less glare in the morning fog or dusk light.
ArmorTek ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt, preserving clarity through seasons of hunting. The entire assembly is argon gas purged and O-ring sealed to be fogproof and waterproof, ensuring performance in rain, snow, or humidity. The nitrogen purge also helps prevent internal fogging across a wide range of temperatures, which is key during shifting thermals and early dawn hunts. A Fast Focus Eyepiece lets you quickly adjust the reticle focus for sharp sight picture, while the single-piece tube maximizes alignment for improved accuracy and water resistance.
Rugged construction means this optic can handle the bumps of field use. Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, the Viper HD 5-25x50 offers strength and rigidity while maintaining a relatively lightweight profile. The low glare matte black anodize reduces shooter visibility and helps camouflage in varied environments, from river bottoms to timbered canyons.
Key specifications at a glance include a magnification range of 5-25x, a 50 mm objective lens, and a second focal plane reticle with the VMR-3 MOA layout. The turret style is exposed elevation with a precise 1/4 MOA adjustment graduation, allowing fine-tuned dialing for extended-range shots. Parallax setting starts at 20 yards and extends to beyond typical hunting distances, preventing parallax error during target engagement. With robust windage and elevation travel, this scope covers long-range scenarios while remaining manageable in the field.
