ThermTec Wild 650DL Pro Thermal Monocular Dual FOV
Product Description
ThermTec Wild 650DL Pro: Professional Dual FOV Thermal Monocular
The Wild 650DL Pro represents ThermTec's flagship thermal monocular, engineered for professional hunters and pest controllers who demand maximum versatility. The revolutionary dual field of view system combines 25mm and 50mm objective lenses in a single unit, delivering both wide-area scanning and long-range identification capabilities without carrying multiple devices.
Dual Field of View Technology - The Game Changer
Unlike conventional thermal monoculars with fixed magnification, the Wild 650DL Pro features true dual optical lenses that you can switch between instantly. The 25mm lens provides a wider field of view perfect for scanning large areas, detecting movement across paddocks, and maintaining situational awareness. Switch to the 50mm lens and you double your detection range, bringing distant targets into clear view for positive identification.
This isn't digital zoom - it's genuine optical magnification. The 50mm configuration delivers twice the reach of the 25mm setting, extending your detection capability to 2,600 metres. For Australian hunters working across varied terrain, this flexibility means you can adapt to changing conditions without switching devices or compromising performance.
High-Resolution 640×512 Thermal Core
At the heart of the Wild 650DL Pro is a premium 640×512 resolution thermal detector with 12μm pixel pitch. This high-density sensor delivers exceptional image clarity, providing the detail necessary to distinguish between species, assess animal size, and make confident identification decisions at extended ranges.
The 50Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, flicker-free imagery when panning or tracking moving targets. Combined with thermal sensitivity (NETD) of ≤18mK, the sensor detects minute temperature differences, revealing animals in heavy cover, identifying fresh tracks by residual heat signatures, and spotting foxes in shadowed areas that entry-level units would miss.
Detection Performance
- 25mm lens: 1,300 metre detection range
- 50mm lens: 2,600 metre detection range
- Thermal sensitivity: ≤18mK NETD
- Refresh rate: 50Hz for smooth imaging
Premium AMOLED Display
The 1600×1200 AMOLED display delivers exceptional image quality with deep blacks, high contrast, and brilliant clarity. Unlike LCD screens that wash out in bright conditions, the AMOLED technology maintains visibility whether you're glassing at midday or during twilight hours. The high-resolution screen ensures you see every detail the sensor captures, reducing eye strain during extended observation sessions.
Integrated 1000m Laser Rangefinder
The built-in laser rangefinder provides instant distance measurement to 1,000 metres, eliminating the need for separate ranging equipment. Spot your target with the 25mm lens, range it, then switch to the 50mm configuration for detailed assessment - all without taking your eye from the display or fumbling with additional gear.
AI-Powered Image Processing
ThermTec's advanced AI image correction technology continuously optimizes the thermal image based on environmental conditions. The system automatically adjusts contrast, sharpness, and detail enhancement, ensuring optimal image quality as you move between different terrain types and temperature environments. This intelligent processing reduces manual adjustments, allowing you to focus on hunting rather than settings.
WiFi Connectivity & Recording
Built-in WiFi enables smartphone connectivity for live image streaming, remote operation, and easy firmware updates. Record your hunts in high-quality video format for later review, training purposes, or sharing with property owners. The WiFi functionality keeps your monocular current with the latest features and performance improvements.
Built for Australian Conditions
Engineered to handle dust, heat, and the rigours of Australian hunting, the Wild 650DL Pro features rugged construction that withstands vehicle-mounted spotlighting, rough station tracks, and remote backcountry work. The replaceable battery system allows extended operation with spare batteries, while the ergonomic design ensures comfortable single-handed operation during long glassing sessions.
