All-Steel Construction
Unlike many competitors, the Howa 1500 uses no plastic components on the action (bar the magazine follower). The receiver and bolt are steel throughout, ensuring long-term durability and eliminating the risk of failure when it matters most.

- HACT Two-Stage Match Trigger — Howa's precision two-stage trigger delivers a crisp, consistent break straight out of the box, giving you a measurable accuracy advantage without aftermarket upgrades.
- Hammer-Forged Barrel — Factory barrels are hammer forged and chambered symmetrically at the centre of axis, with headspace set to exacting specs for maximum accuracy and consistent bore quality.
- 3-Position Safety — Allows the bolt to be locked down and the action to be unloaded while on safe — ideal for youth shooters, navigating difficult terrain, and checking reloaded ammunition.
- Square Bolt Face — Bolt faces are square to the barrel chamber with excellent contact in the recess, contributing directly to consistent accuracy.
- Detachable Magazine Compatible — The hinged floorplate internal magazine system can be converted to a detachable magazine in minutes. Compatible magazines range from 5rd to 10rd. Works on older Howa 1500s, Weatherby Vanguards, Mossberg 1500s, S&W 1500s, and Interarms 1500s in short action calibres (.223 Rem, .204 Ruger, .22-250 Rem, .243 Win, .308 Win & 7mm-08 Rem only).

DELIVERY
- Dispatch: Within 24 Hours Monday - Friday where product is in sock
- Bulky items such as tripods, air compressors and all firearms are excluded from free shipping.
- All firearms MUST be shipped to a registered firearms dealer.
- Projectiles / Brass to WA can only be shipped to a dealer
- Standard shipping time - 5-7 business days, Express 1-3 business days (as a guideline, we use Australia Post after all).
RETURNS
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
