When the SH35L is enough
If your honest average shot is inside about 150 m, a 35 mm Stellar is usually the right lens. The SH35L 3.0 LRF keeps weight and cost sensible for close pest work. Step up to the SQ35L only when you want more FOV and detail at the same 35 mm distance. That's still fitting the job, not "buying the bigger number".
When the SQ50L is the one
