Designed to be incredibly lightweight while boasting a ton of features to make it count, when it counts!The Project X Hunter features a more conventional shaped hunting stock with the added bonus of an adjustable cheek riser for comfort and consistency.
The Hardy match grade barrel - contoured and fluted specifically for optimised weight while maintaining accuracy.
Flush fitting magazine for a clean look and a nicer carry. Plus, an ambidextrous hidden mag release.
ADVANCED PRIMARY EXTRACTION
Primary extraction is an extremely underdeveloped but crucial stage of cycling your firearm. Primary extraction is one of the major causes of rifle malfunctions yet the design has not changed significantly in a century. In a conventional bolt action rifle, the primary extraction is conducted in approximately the last 5 degrees of bolt lift. This creates considerable shock loading on your extractor and brass to the point where the extractor can let go and drop the rifle cartridge.
Project X Hunter uses an advanced primary extraction system wherein primary extraction is achieved throughout the entire 90 degrees of bolt lift. This spreads the load over a range 18x greater than conventional design in turn reducing the stress on the fired brass and your extractor while increasing reliability.
WEIGHT CONSCIOUS DESIGN
PROJECT X Hunter is not only a blend of features but also of materials. We are able to optimize the weight of each component based on it's application with materials such as:
- 4140 alloy steel
- Chrome silicon
- 7075 T6 aluminum
- Carbon fiber composites
This has given us the ability to optimize each portion of the action and as a result, we are able to construct the heart of your rifle considerably lighter, stronger, and with far greater optimized features.

RETURNS
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
