The Howa 1500 represents the best value bolt action rifle in Australia. With thousands sold over the years, Howa rifles are a proven performer. Unlike many competitors, there are no plastic parts on the action, bar the magazine follower. This means peace of mind for the owner, knowing that the rifle will last, removing potential for failure at a crucial moment. Receiver and bolt are steel.

Bolt has integral bolt handle, bolt faces are square to barrel chamber, and bolt faces have excellent contact with recess, ensuring accuracy. Many shooters know that the trigger on any rifle is one of the inherent focal points for achieved accuracy and safety.

Our factory barrels are Hammer Forged and are chambered symmetrically at center of axis with head space set to stringent and exacting specs resulting in maximum accuracy and consistent bores. Howa rifles use the proven hinged floorplate internal magazine system.

Modern and easy-to-use stock system for the HOWA M1500 short action system. Made of impact-modified polymer as well as aluminum V-block and aluminum fore-end.

DELIVERY

Dispatch: Within 24 Hours Monday - Friday where product is in sock
Free standard shipping across all products on a minimum purchase of $1000, free express post shipping over $1500
Bulky items such as tripods, air compressors and all firearms are excluded from free shipping.
All firearms MUST be shipped to a registered firearms dealer.
Projectiles / Brass to WA can only be shipped to a dealer
Standard shipping time - 5-7 business days, Express 1-3 business days (as a guideline, we use Australia Post after all).

RETURNS

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
