Very happy with is tripod, it does all that it says it can do. Equiped with the saddle clamp on top it’s a great combo. I like the height it extends up to as I’m 195cm tall and I still have some leg extension left while using.

Have had a chance to chronograph down to as small as .177 and this thing accurately measures everything. Great buy.

Great piece of gear. Very stable and the ball head is very smooth and takes a laminate stock la102 with heavy thermal no worries. The leg length adjustment is smooth and quiet. I like the leg angle change adjustment and I don’t seem to accidentally bump it like I used to with the Bog tripod. (I fitted a ball head to the Bog and it was nowhere near as good as this one. ) I couldn’t be happier with it.

Fantastic, haven't hunted with it yet but nighttime views it should work a treat for what I intend to use it for.

I hunt deer and shoot F- Class out to 900 metres. Years ago I bought a chrony chronograph which was cutting edge for the era but a pain in the butt to set up especially on a busy range and I shot it one day. Progressed to the Magneto speed which is a great unit and easy to use but interferes with barrel harmonics. Looked at the Athlon Rangecraft from afar and eventually gave in. I can’t put into words how impressed I am with this unit. Noting hanging off the rifle, nothing to shoot accidentally and it hasn’t missed a shot at more than a hundred rounds (I get, “can I use your Athlon”, “Yes!”) three of us used it last week at the range - simple to use, provides all the data you need for load development analysis and doesn’t miss a beat. I’m still exploring the software and find it to be friendlier on my iPad that on my iPhone but expect a bit more use will iron that out. Excellent bit of kit, Yes, I recommend the Athlon Rangecraft.
