The view starts at this unit's own magnification. The further away the animal, and the wider the field of view, the less detail the sensor picks up, until you can tell something warm is there but not what it is. Zooming in makes it bigger, not sharper.

Example image only. Not filmed through this product. Pig and deer stills supplied by HIKMICRO and Nocpix; fox and rabbit are thermal-style images we made from photos by A. Omer Karamollaoglu (CC BY 2.0) and Alexis Lours (CC BY 4.0). Field of view and zoom are simulated from this unit's 640×512 sensor and 35 mm lens, 2× base magnification. Real results change with weather, display and settings.

Nocpix ACE 2 H35R Thermal Scope – Compact Reach with LRF 2.0 and Ballistics

Hunters who need a lighter thermal riflescope for paddock and scrub work will feel at home with the Nocpix ACE 2 H35R.

Using LRF 2.0, it locks distance faster and sharper than the previous ACE generation when the weather turns against you.

Next-gen ballistics fold in range, angle, wind drift and conditions so the hold point is ready when you are.

This compact 35 mm model balances a wide field of view with enough punch for typical Australian night shooting.

Trusted 640 × 512, 12 µm imaging with NETD ≤12 mK keeps heat signatures crisp in fog, humidity and clutter.

High-contrast detail from R+ 2.0 AI enhancement helps you separate animals from background heat, not just blobs.

Every zoom step stays clean thanks to Ocular Zoom 2.0, with 60 mm eye relief and a 10 mm exit pupil for longer, easier sessions.

Night after night, the magnesium body under 1000 g cuts carry fatigue without giving up an IP67-rated shell.

Inside the dual battery system you get up to about 8 hours at 22°C, plus a replaceable 18650 for cold starts and long sits.

Giving you Motion and Still clarity modes means you can track a runner or pick antler detail without swapping scopes.

Hunt The Night stocked this ACE 2 specifically for Aussie pest controllers and hunters who want modern ranging built in.

That is why the H35R ships with 64 GB recording, recoil-activated video, 5G Wi-Fi app pairing and Class 1 LRF to 1200 m.

Integrated LRF 2.0 and Ballistic System

LRF 2.0 delivers distance data with 11% sharper optics and 57% faster ranging in tough conditions, out to 1200 m (±1 m). The onboard ballistic system works out the hold using distance, angle, wind drift and environmental factors so you can take a confident shot when it counts.

640 × 512 Sensor, NETD ≤12 mK

A 640 × 512, 12 µm thermal sensor with industry-leading NETD ≤12 mK picks up fine temperature differences and turns them into high-contrast images. Paired with the upgraded R+ 2.0 AI algorithm, the H35R holds detail and clarity when conditions get tough.

35 mm F0.9 Objective

The F35/0.9 objective gives a wide field of view of 12.6° × 10.1° (21.9 × 17.6 m at 100 m), with 2–4× optical magnification and up to 20× maximum magnification — ideal when you need awareness as well as precision.

Detection range is up to 1800 m (1.7 × 0.5 m target, Pn = 99%).

Ocular Zoom 2.0

60 mm eye relief and a 10 mm exit pupil give up to 25% longer eye relief than the previous generation. Lossless hybrid zoom keeps reticle accuracy steady through the zoom range for clearer, more comfortable viewing at any magnification.

Magnesium Body and Low-Temp Battery

The high-strength magnesium alloy chassis is about 25% lighter than the previous generation. Runtime is up to 8 hours at 22°C — about 14% longer than before — with solid cold-weather performance. External Type-C power keeps you going when you need a top-up.

Intelligent Tracking and Central Focus

Integrated laser ranging and an electronic compass give instant target coordinates from a single measurement. The centrally placed focus wheel lets you dial focus without breaking your aiming position, even in low light.

Dual Clarity Mode and 5G Wi-Fi

Motion Mode keeps imaging smooth on moving targets. Still Mode sharpens fine detail for identification. One-tap app pairing remembers your device, and upgraded 5G Wi-Fi pushes transfers up to about 20 MB/s for video downloads and firmware updates. Photo and video recording, recoil-activated video, gallery playback and 64 GB of onboard memory are all built in.
