Looking for a light weight, high power VSCEL IR light? Then you're looking for our new one! Don't be fooled by its size, this thing is a powerhouse. VSCEL is the next leap in IR technology, and our torch has been designed by us.
Now what is VSCEL I hear you ask?
Think of it like a super-precise torch that shoots out straight, clean beams of light. It’s fast, controlled, and really efficient. Because the beam is so tight and consistent, it’s great for things like laser rangefinders or high-end night vision — you get sharp, reliable results without chewing through heaps of power.
How does it compare to traditional LED based IR lights?
Traditional LED is more like your average camp torch with a red filter on it. It still lights things up, but the beam spreads everywhere. It’s cheaper and does the job, but it’s not as sharp or efficient. You’ll get more “floodlight” than “spotlight.” That’s why LED IR tends to chew through battery quicker, and it doesn’t have the same reach or accuracy.
In short:
VCSEL = laser-like, efficient, long reach, sharp.
IR LED = flood-like, cheaper, drains battery quicker, less precise.
The kit includes the new VSCEL IR light, both the 850 and 940 IR light, rat tail switch, clamp, two batteries and a charger. This is the best light we've designed yet!

DELIVERY
- Dispatch: Within 24 Hours Monday - Friday where product is in sock
- Free standard shipping across all products on a minimum purchase of $1000, free express post shipping over $1500
- Bulky items such as tripods, air compressors and all firearms are excluded from free shipping.
- All firearms MUST be shipped to a registered firearms dealer.
- Projectiles / Brass to WA can only be shipped to a dealer
- Standard shipping time - 5-7 business days, Express 1-3 business days (as a guideline, we use Australia Post after all).
RETURNS
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
