Originally crafted for long-range hunting, the 6.5 PRC remains an exceptional choice for both hunting and precision shooting. With increased case capacity, it achieves velocities up to 80 m/s or 262 fps faster than the 6.5 Creedmoor or 6.5×55 SE. The longer throat design of the 6.5 PRC case accommodates high ballistic coefficient projectiles, making it ideal for long-range competitions.
For reloading enthusiasts, the 6.5 PRC case pairs well with slower burning rifle powder types, offering versatility and performance. It's particularly suited for heavier projectiles exceeding 9.7 g / 150 grains, delivering excellent retained energy and terminal performance for mid-sized and large game.
Lapua's 6.5 PRC case features a Large Rifle Primer (LRP) and comes packed in our new cardboard 100-piece Lapua brass box. Designed to maintain brass integrity during shipping, this new case box ensures your reloading experience reaches its highest potential.

DELIVERY
- Dispatch: Within 24 Hours Monday - Friday where product is in sock
- Free standard shipping across all products on a minimum purchase of $1000, free express post shipping over $1500
- Bulky items such as tripods, air compressors and all firearms are excluded from free shipping.
- All firearms MUST be shipped to a registered firearms dealer.
- Projectiles / Brass to WA can only be shipped to a dealer
- Standard shipping time - 5-7 business days, Express 1-3 business days (as a guideline, we use Australia Post after all).
RETURNS
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
