You get a wide, detailed picture and a distance reading in one unit, so you're not juggling a second device in the dark.

Here's what that means in the paddock. The 640×512 sensor and 35 mm lens give a 12.5° × 10° field of view, about 22 m wide at 100 m, so you cover more ground without panning as much. The laser rangefinder reads out to 1,000 m and works with the built-in ballistic calculator, so you range the animal and set your hold in one go.

It runs on a replaceable 18650 battery, good for about 6 hours each, so you can swap one in the field and keep going. It's sealed to IP67, rated for recoil up to 6,000 J, and sits in standard 30 mm rings.

Best for: foxes, rabbits, pigs and deer inside about 150 m, where the wide view and built-in rangefinder do the work. Not for: anyone chasing tight, long-reach magnification. It's 2.2× optical with 1–4× digital zoom (up to 8.8× in all), built for a wide, quick pickup. Not sure if it suits how you hunt?
